THE TIME I MISTOOK MY PASTOR FOR GOD.

Short Story - Turning Point
Cover picture of THE TIME I MISTOOK MY PASTOR FOR GOD.

It was a cool Wednesday evening, I rushed through work to make it early for the mid-week service, which starts at 6:30pm. I like to get to church five minutes before the service starts so I can be seated on the front roll. Seating on this roll helps me focus, as my eyes will be glued to the altar, the pastor, the worship leaders and no one else.

The theme for the month was Faith and we had had three powerful teachings on the topic. We were on the last phase this week, which meant that the General Overseer of my church will be preaching today. He liked to begin and end the month with us and visit his other branches in between. I am guessing this is to raise the momentum high as the month begins and close it up on a high tempo at the end of the month.

Today, he talked about how

Single Girls Gist: My Best Valentine’s Day Experience,

Cover for My Best Valentine's day Experience

                                          My Best Valentine’s Day Experience,

                                           Let’s Make This One Count!

Hi dear, its Valentine’s day in two days’ time and this one, I am particularly excited about because I am switching things up a little. I am tired of waiting for a guy to whisk me to some romantic island to celebrate this day or gift me something that will leave me speechless, so this time around, I would like to make some ladies day special.

Before I get into my plans for my single ladies, let me share my Best Valentine’s day experience with you. This is not one of those posts where I hide behind the curtains of a fiction story, No. It is my experience and one that I am proud to have had and do not mind sharing with you. If my story resonates with you, please do not hesitate to say so in the comment section below.

There are rules to this post – Do not judge me, so you will not be judged (I hope that is bribe enough *lol*), listen to the points and pick out lessons from it. If you are a regular reader of my posts, you already know the need for these rules but if this is your first time reading my blog, you are about to have an interesting ride.

A little background will be apt. Love has

Hi dear,

How are the goals coming? Are you meeting up your 'to dos'? As for me, I am taking it one day at a time. One of my goals for this year is staying in shape and looking sexy. #wink. It is with a merry heart that I am informing you that

WHAT THE YEAR 2018 TAUGHT ME;

Cover for How i got 6000 subscribers in 6 months

HOW I Got 6000 YOUTUBE SUBSCRIBERS IN 6 MONTHS

2017 ended in the most depressing and hopeless state for me. Around the middle of the year, precisely in June, I lost a job I thought was my breakthrough job and I passively started a YouTube Channel. I had heard that earning money from Google AdSense was easier on YouTube than on blog. After all, I had run my blog for 7 months before then and was still getting rejected by AdSense even though I got thousands of views on it. I knew I had an interesting personality so running a YouTube channel would not be a problem.

Fast forward 6 months after that I got the shocker of my life!

MY EXPERIENCE AT THE KING OF BOYS MOVIE PREMIERE

King of Boys Movie Premiere

There are a few movie premieres that I have attended and this one has been my best so far.

When I got the invite to this premiere, I went straight to check out the dress code for the event because I know my Lagos people; they do not joke when it comes to dressing to events. The dress code said ‘Gangster Royalty’. For a split second, I was blank… ‘Gangster what?’ I thought to myself and headed for my wardrobe to see if I could make out anything that spoke ‘Gangster and Royalty’ at the same time but no, I couldn’t.

Long story short, I decided that dressing safe was better than dressing wrong, so I went in for a big white shirt, slightly ripped sky blue denim trousers and a black plum heel; made up, grabbed my white purse and off I was to the premiere.
