The VENDOR.

The Vendor is a comedy film that is mediocrely written and directed by Odunlade Adekola. He presented a tale of a young man’s misfortune in a fiercely forceful way. The movie features a range of actors like: Odunlade Adekola, Adunni Ade, Jide Kosoko and Pa James.

The Vendor is a story about a young man, Gbadebo Godwin Akunwunmi (Odunlade Adekola), who is abandoned by his wealthy politician father and has to sort out life alone. Having to do several menial jobs, fall in love and eventually, luck meets him when he is reunited with his father (Jide Kosoko) and welcomed into the life of affluence.

Hakunde is a drama-comedy that features two chief jesters in the movie scene: Kehinde Idowu aka Frank Donga and Toyin Abraham aka the Alakada woman. Tomi Adesina and Oluseyi Asurf presented a very relatable tale of a jobless and frustrated Nigerian graduate in a sentimental yet humorous way.

The movie “Roti” is a suspense filled drama that would keep you fixed to your seat, eyes wide open, calls and messages totally ignored till the very end. Award winning director and producer Kunle Afolayan, as usual, proved that he is no ordinary Nollywood film maker with this one (he must have read my last review). He teamed up with Sola Dada to address a question that unconsciously lingers in the minds of most of us: Does reincarnation truly exist? This movie, however, reminds me of Rihanna’s third album, Good girl gone bad; it was a splendid movie that went sour.
